Lilydale campground (free camping)
40 minutes west of Grafton and situated on the Clarence river was our next stop north for 2 nights. Good opportunity to gain more free camping experience including water & power (battery test following previous damage) management. Came through with flying colours.

We finally get away for the next adventure 😊
A reasonably long drive but on a good road, 550kms. Left just before 7.30am; stopped for coffee; lunch at rest stop north of Kempsey; arriving at a CP at Arrawarra for 2 nights. The thunderstorm was beautiful to watch… at a distance
8th Adventure
Alan’s condition improves!
Kidney function has improved… miraculous! Alan is eating a little, wanting to go home AND wants to know what it’s costing to stay in hospital… that’s the Alan I know sooo well!
The windiest we’ve experienced so far… Kiama, of course! Pulled in the slide out and slept in a shortened bed.
Decided to return home
