Interesting “dry” caves set in a “dry” rain forest. Our tour meandered its way through narrow passages which opened into vast chasms. The largest was the Cathedral chasm.

Volunteers were invited to test the acoustics… Jennifer sang “Amazing Grace”!

Editing essays while away… now that’s dedication!

A clear sky, no wind, minimal light at The Caves (25kms North of Rockhampton) was the setting for these photos. Exposure ranged from 15 – 30sec, hence the “blurring” caused by the Earths rotation on the longer exposures!

We were about to head out for the day when I locked the caravan door, with the keys inside 😖!! It should not have been possible but it did happen (due to what the locksmith determined later was a product fault). We finally got into the caravan but the morning was a wipe out.

In the afternoon we toured the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. Great Aussie business and range of products.

Bustling tourist beach a few kms east of Bundaberg. Midday temperature very pleasant 😀
