After just under 5 weeks we travelled 5,300 kms, of which 4,400kms travelling from place to place. The most northern town… Bowen Qld. 19 places… caravan parks, farmstays, free camps. On a number of days we carried full water tanks for free camping or farmstays. If not staying in a caravan park, finding potable water was challenging, particularly in times of severe drought. Fuel consumption = 16.1L/100kms, 1.8L toilet chemical, 40GB data and 1 x gas bottle. Didn’t use the floor matting, awning shade cloth, portable fire pit, wet suits, fishing gear nor recovery gear. Did need to use the gas heater overnight (x3) and electric blanket (x1). Solar/Battery was more than adequate (always sunny days). One caravan water tank leak was repaired on Sunshine Coast. Service agent also replaced the water pressure limiting valve (back to original spec) and hot water tank anode. Water pump stopped working at St George. Had the pump checked… may have been over heating issue??, now working OK. The inline water filter was “blocked” during Cape Palmerston stay; issue sorted itself at next caravan site.
