Home again
A great 1st adventure. We travelled to a warmer climate to escape Sydney’s cold visiting many beautiful locations (Sapphire Beach/Coffs Harbour, Hastings Point/Gold Coast, Moore Park Beach/Bundaberg, Capricorn Caves/Rockhampton, 1770/AgnesWaters, Pelican Waters/Sunshine Coast, Tallebudgera Creek/Gold Coast, Port Macquarie). Touring a total 4,700kms over a period of 1 mth + 1 day. Fuel economy = 14.0L/100Kms… pretty good considering the weight & size of the caravan.
So many new and good experiences… highlights included 1770; Capricorn Caves & in particular, Jennifer singing in the Cathedral Cave; spending time with friends (Brian, Wendy, Theo & Kerrie) and family (Brian & Jenny)… and above all, enjoying God’s creation.
Looking forward to the next trip 😀😀.
Last meal before heading back home 😩
Port Macquarie CP
One of the better caravan parks we stayed in… good location and facilities which included usable wi-fi!
Port Macquarie sunset did not disappoint
Flynn’s Beach
Still have NOT seen a whale!
Port Macquarie
It’s colder!
Alas, we have left the warmer Queensland temperatures. 😩
Tallebudgera Creek & Burleigh Head National Park
A walk through Burleigh Heads National Park rainforest lead us to the lookout for views north & south…
