This is a peaceful scenic campground, where we’re could swim in the tidal creek or cross it, to dive into the surf. Fishing for salmon and flathead seems to be popular.

Merry Beach
Despite the constant wet weather, there were some mornings where we could walk and get in a swim. The walk to Pretty Beach south, over the headland, is littered with native flowers and the rock platforms are a spectacular sight.
While staying near Ulladulla, we attended the memorial service for our dear friend, Theo Chalmers. It was a privilege. The following day we enjoy lunch with Bob and Sue, who had also come to Theo’s service.
Bendalong
This pretty rock headland is about three and a half hours’ drive south. You can walk from the van park to the beach to the south, or to the bay on the north side. Stingrays visit the bay and will take food straight from your hand!
