Night sky

Cold autumn evening, clear sky at Olive Hill Farm. A fellow camper had a fire (smoke is visible) and lights (left hand photo)

ANZAC

We listened to the service from Canberra at 5:30am with the other campers at the homemade flagpole.
Then had bbq breakfast (social distance observed). Three of the men are ex Navy and two of them wore their medals.

Dinner around the camp fires

Dinner was cooked and served by farmers (Benji & Helen) for all remaining campers…slow cooked (6hrs) leg of ham, potatoes, beans followed by ice cream (3 flavours). We also said farewell to Steph & Beau who will depart for Newcastle NSW tomorrow morning.

Aussie flag (ANZAC Day)

There are 3 ex Navy men (and their wives) staying at Olive Hill Farm. In no time flat they, along with Benji (farmer who drilled the hole), obtained a tree from the forest and erected a 10m flagpole ready for the ANZAC dawn service on Friday.
