53.5 metres long, travelling at 85-100km/h, road trains are used throughout the north. Overtaking is quite challenging when towing… wind buffeting and passing such a long vehicle. When a road train passes from the opposite direction, the wind buffeting is even greater.

Farewell W.A.
After a few days short of 5 months we have departed W.A. The NT/W.A. border crossing was straight forward but did include completing docs and a police check.
Don’t think we will travel at anything close to the NT speed limit towing the caravan.
Colours of the Kimberley
Most photos can’t do justice to the actual view (Maggie’s Valley). This panoramic photo is no exception… but it does I think provide a reasonable representation (tap/click on the photo to view an enlargement.
