With no allocated sites or defined tracks other than the main entrance and exit roads, it was a little tricky navigating our departure.

The Hinkler Hall of Aviation celebrates solo aviation pioneer, Bert Hinkler, and the wonders of innovation, adventure & spirit. Interesting museum.

Could not resist a visit to the brewery. Came away with a 6 pack of a variety of Bundaberg drinks (non alcoholic).

A low cost camp site ($10/night) only 15 minutes out from Bundaberg.

Unfortunately we couldn’t stay longer (booked out) and so moved onto a low cost camp nearby.

Beautiful, level, but soft sand at times, walk. There were so many birds. Wishing I had the room to bring the DSLR camera with a zoom lens.
