does not get better than this

Spent just over 3 weeks back home visiting family and friends. Loved this time particularly meeting our new grandson Levi and celebrating Adam’s 40th birthday.

Today we pack up and fly back home for 3 weeks. The caravan is left in storage at the rear of a caravan park in Mareeba and the car at Cairns airport.

A great find close to Mareeba. Grade 3 & 4 walk to the waterfalls followed by an excellent picnic lunch

It was hard to pick which business had the best coffee in the Atherton Tablelands

Specialising in gin production, this business also had beautiful gardens, caravan park and farm animals

We (Brian, Jenny, Jennifer) visited a number waterfalls, Nerada tea plantation, curtain fig tree and more.

Introduced Brian & Jenny to ”Coffee Works”. Just one of the many Atherton Tableland outlets which produce & serve really good quality coffee in pleasant surroundings.

I celebrated my 70th birthday with Jennifer, Bob & Sue and Brian & Jenny. The celebrations began on the evening before my birthday at a Cairns restaurant followed the next day on my birthday at a restaurant on the Marina… it was a long lunch and a memorable occasion. Feeling incredibly blessed 🥹

Today’s swim was closer and this time with Bob & Sue and Brian & Jenny. Very refreshing and good fun.

Just over an hours drive south of Cairns are Babinda Boulders and Josephine Falls. Another invigorating swim in fresh, cool waters.
