Quite a short kayak just to gain more experience and get some exercise.
Moruya Heads
From our base (Moruya Heads BIG 4 caravan park) we drove north and inland visiting Nelligen, Shallow Crossing, Clyde River Berry Farm followed by a late lunch on the banks of the Clyde river.

Depot Beach
Located in Murramarang National Park, the national park camp site is set amongst beautiful spotted gums common in the area. Unusually we had the largest caravan during our 2 day stay. After a very warm 24° water temperature at Currarong, we were surprised with brisk 19° swims at Depot beach.

…and abundant bird life, animals and kangaroos.

An early morning walk & a swim
Mermaids Inlet
A great walk (8.2km return) with Brian & Wendy. Spectacular coastal vista.

Sunrise at Currarong
God’s creation on display.
Mermaid Inlet Walk & Bosom Beach Swim
The weather improved after a really rainy night. A beautiful morning walk with Bob & Sue followed by a swim. Jennifer did particularly well as the terrain was challenging at times. The total distance walked was over 8km.
Currarong street & foreshore walk
Not so exciting walk on a dull, wet afternoon.
Currarong
Late afternoon swim (water temp was warm). Missed the overnight storm. Morning weather made for a pleasant walk around the foreshores & headland.

Minnamurra river swim
Ocean swell and conditions were treacherous so the next best for a swim on a summer’s day was the river.
