Jennifer has not been well. We decided it best not to be more remote until she visited a doctor đ¨ââď¸. Closest medical centre was Injune. Doctorâs diagnosis… Giardia. Good call but a great disappointment not visiting Carnarvon Gorge.

Lake Elphinstone
Peaceful free camp for 2 nights. Less than a dozen caravans or tents on 1st night, a few more the second. Due to a lack of rain, the lake capacity was reduced, the water temperature was increasing so their were algae blooms. Council had posted warnings… donât drink or swim! The wind was strong during the day.

Looking for turtles
At the waterâs edge, at the front of the caravan park, 3 turtles popped their heads above the water line but the speed at which they took breath & the wait in between breaths made it sooo difficult to take a photo. The photo is of the âturtle spotterâ đ
